Overview

Diploma in Policing and Investigation focuses on aspects of constitutional law, policies and systems and criminal prevention procedures. While existing legislation grows inline with time circulation, the constitution remains a document and guides to all other laws passed by Parliament.

The law or constitution cannot be separated from the historical, economic, sociological and political context of a country. Apart from that, the program also dives deeper into the process of law-making, the three levels of government, the relations between the state government and the federal government and other important aspects of the constitution.

Programme Objectives

  1. To enable the students to gain knowledge and skills in key policing and investigation components.
  2. To equip the students with the relevant competencies to function in law enforcement and security-related industry.
  3. To expose the students to understand the social, cultural and political diversity in the context of managing police organization, government or private sector organization or related industry in the context of criminal justice system.
  4. To enable the students to Understand the need for individual, community, organizational and societal support, cooperation and commitments towards the preservation of peace and safety through effective policing and crime prevention.

Entry Requirement

1. A pass in O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects

2. Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).

Course Fees

  • Total Course Fees: RM 30,000 + Other Fees

Other Fees

  • Student Registration Fees: RM 1500 – RM 2500
  • The estimated first-year payment for the EMGS and Immigration Charges is approximately MYR2,450 to MYR4,200/USD550 to USD950*. The student pass is subject to annual renewal and the charges are approximately MYR750 to MYR800/USD170 to USD180* per annum. *The amount will vary according to the country of origin. EMGS Fees are to be paid separately.
