Overview

Diploma in Finance programme offered by UNIKOP College is designed and developed to unleash the student’s potential in financial and business field. Students will be equipped with technical, analytical, soft-skills and management skills in order to be ready for the industry. The programme also prepares the students through its curriculum and industry exposure related to the fields of finance, economics, entrepreneurship, banking as well as credits and risk management.

Programme Objectives

  1. Developing the individual’s ability in the finance and banking field through effective use and combination of the knowledge and skills gained in different parts of the programme.
  2. Developing specialist routes of study which relate to individual professions within the real world in which students are working or intend to seek employment and at the same to develop a range of transferable skills and techniques and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.
  3. Developing individuals with knowledge, understanding and skills such as skills of analysis, synthesis, creativity and evaluation so as to ensure the graduates of the programme will be successful in a range of finance and banking positions.
  4. Enabling progression to an undergraduate degree or further professional qualification in finance or in banking or a related area.
  5. Developing a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance in working life and thereby enable students to make an immediate contribution to employment.
  6. Developing flexibility, knowledge, skills and motivation as a basis for future studies and career development in business.

Entry Requirement

1. A pass in O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects

2. Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).

Other Fees

  • Student Registration Fees: RM 1500 – RM 2500
  • The estimated first-year payment for the EMGS and Immigration Charges is approximately MYR2,450 to MYR4,200/USD550 to USD950*. The student pass is subject to annual renewal and the charges are approximately MYR750 to MYR800/USD170 to USD180* per annum. *The amount will vary according to the country of origin. EMGS Fees are to be paid separately.
