- Curriculum
a) A Master’s Degree (Level 7 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF| or equivalent and candidates must have completed at least one (1) of their earlier Degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in Computing or related to computing. OR b) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) with the following conditions:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the field or related fields with first-class (CGPA of 3.67 or higher) or its equivalent from an academic or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme;
- Undergo internal assessment;
- Any other requirements of the HEP. OR
c) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) candidates who are registered for Master’s Degree programmes may apply to convert to the Doctoral Degree programmes subjected to the following conditions:
- Within 1 vear for full time and within 2 years for part-time candidates:
- Having shown competency and capability in conducting research at Doctoral level through rigorous internal evaluation by the HEP; and
- Approval of the HEP Senate. OR
d) Other qualifications equivalent to a Master Degree (Level 7 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the field or related fields recognised by the HEP Senate.
International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English.
1. Obtain Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) score of 60 or
2. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or its equivalent
Duration
- Full time – Minimum 3 years, Maximum 8 years
- Part Time – Minimum 5 years, Maximum 10 years
